Merit Fitness 725T Treadmill Reviews and Rating

In the market for a treadmill? On a limited budget? Merit has released a line of treadmills that offer users standard features for an affordable price. The Merit fitness 725T plus treadmill features a 1.25 Continuous-duty motor that allows users to run from 1-10 mph, at elevations varying from 0 to 10 percent. This treadmill includes a computer console that tracks your resistance, speed, time, and distance. At 18 x 45 inches, this treadmill does not provide a great deal of space to walk or run on. In addition, although the treadmill's capacity should accommodate users up to 250lbs, the 725T is best suited for users under 200lbs. Let's take a deeper look at some of this model's features.

Merit Fitness 725T Treadmill1.25 Continuous Duty Motor

This is about the minimum horsepower I would recommend for any treadmill. If you purchased anything less, you limit yourself to walking or very light jogging. I would also seriously question the durability of anything with less power. With this motor, users can run up to 10 mph, but may want to consider a treadmill with more horsepower if they are planning to do any serious running. Other treadmills in this price range typically limit speeds to 6-8 MPH so Merit must be commended for offering a higher speed.

Running programs

The Merit fitness 725T Treadmill offers a decent amount of built-in programs. Quite enough to burn some calories! If the programs are not suitable for you, the option to do free exercising sessions is available. You can then save the calories burned and distance traveled to compare them at a later stage. Users can also increase the incline to 10 degrees to add a level of difficulty to a workout.

Heart Rate Monitor

A pulse rate monitor is built into the hand-grips. This provides users with the convenience of measuring their heart rate during an exercise session. Unfortunately, this model is not compatible with a wireless chest strap monitor, so the usefulness of this feature can be questioned. But users have the option to use a pulse rate monitor separately.

Benefits of Portable Air Conditioners

If you're building or renovating your home, installing a ducted air conditioning system with floor- or ceiling-mounted air conditioner units might be a wise choice. It will be cheapest to install and could drastically increase the value of your home, not to mention its comfort.

But if you want to install an air conditioning in an established home, you could be frightened away by the price. What if you are flatting? How can you keep cool in summer and warm in winter?
Portable Air Conditioner
Best Portable air conditioner are the most affordable option. A portable air conditioner fits anywhere you need it – beside your desk, in your bedroom or next to the TV. The small unit size and ability to target air conditioning in exactly the area you want means you'll save on energy costs from a more sophisticated air conditioning system.

When you move house, you can bring your air conditioner with you – this makes portable air conditioners the ideal solution for flatters. Also, if you only live in a small space – like a studio apartment – a portable air conditioner will give you all the same functionality as a wall-mounted unit – for a fraction of the cost.

People who live in condos, apartments, retirement villages and covenanted properties may have difficulty obtaining permission to install a more sophisticated indoor/outdoor air conditioning system. Portable air conditioners allow them to still heat and cool their homes.

Portable air conditioners work by drawing air into the unit, chilling the air, and then blowing it back out into the room. Warm air is exhausted through a tube going out the window. Most models can operate as a simply fan (no chilling) and as a heater.
